WHAT IS A SILHOUETTE INSTALIFT?

Silhouette InstaLift™ is a minimally-invasive facial rejuvenation procedure that lifts sagging facial skin. Being that it is a non-surgical face lift, there is no need for major surgery, scars or general anesthesia. Silhouette InstaLift™ uses FDA-approved glycolide/L-lactide (PLGA), a biomedical copolymer that is recognized well by the body.

HOW IS THE PROCEDURE PERFORMED?

This procedure can be done in-office, and gently lifts the deeper layers of the skin with resorbable sutures, re-contouring the mid-face and cheek area. Treatments are quick, commonly lasting 45 minutes, and no general anesthesia is needed. Results are immediately visible, and will improve gradually over three months.

HOW LONG IS RECOVERY?

The sutures are absorbed into the body over time, and stimulate the production of collagen for renewed, healthy looking skin. Downtime is limited, though patients may experience some mild redness or swelling, which should resolve on its own within a few days.
