Airborne Allergy Screening

75% of all Americans suffer from undiagnosed airborne allergies.  While the use of anti-histamines may provide relief from the symptoms associated with airborne allergies, they are only a temporary relief as antihistamines only mask airborne allergy symptoms.

Some individuals experience immediate allergy symptoms when exposed to pollens, dust, animal dander and foods. Previously, skin testing was the staple in identifying airborne allergies. While there were some benefits to scratch testing, patients would have to wait an extended amount of time exposed to allergens on their skin, which would cause discomfort and pose the risk of adverse allergic reactions. In addition, results could potentially be inconsistent as results were visibly measured by medical staff performing the test.

Recently, more convenient blood tests have been developed to detect allergic reactions to many airborne allergens.  Healthy Testing Solutions using the more accurate and risk-free blood test to detect 51 airborne allergens consisting of trees, pollen, dust, animals, insects, and grasses indigenous to the patient’s area of the United States.
