AOFF Film Festival

Many in Hollywood say 2017 is going to be a good year for Asian actors. Well, we hope it’ll be a good year for all actors everywhere. We certainly hope AOFF can expose more quality international films (made by Asians, for Asians, or just with Asians in them) to the industry here in Hollywood. This year we have received over 400 submissions from 15 countries and regions (US, China, Canada, UK, India, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Denmark,  Belgium, Nepal, etc.) and have screened close to 60 of them. Our prominent panelists include Galen Walker (TMNT producer), Rick Ambros ( executive and consultant for Disney, Fox, Universal, Warner Bros., Paramount, Sony), Daniel Kneece (DP, Jackie Brown, Phone Booth), Sean Wood (Conon, Fear Itself), Melanie Ansley (China Hollywood Society), Maria Norman (Producer, Out for Justice, Partner, Gama Entertainment), Alon Shtruzman (CEO of Keshet International), Rakesh Kumar (CCO, Hollywood Pictures International), Steven Nia (Co-founder of Wardour Studios), Ben Everard (Co-Founder, COO of Grey Matter Productions), Jennie Lew Tugend (Producer, Free Willy, Lethal Weapon, Tales from the Crypt) and Lucia Liu (Asian Business Development Dep. UTA)
