Chinese Lantern Festival

Join us for an incredible celebration of awe-inspiring art, entertainment, food and culture at Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Boca Raton featuring:
-Over 800 handcrafted Chinese lanterns and sculptures
-Live Kung Fu performances, including demos and coaching by martial arts champions
-Custom-made Folk Art by talented artists with a variety of skills (clay portraits, palm weaving, embroidery, painting and more)
-Dinosaur rides for kids at Dinosaur Empire exhibit
-Food vendors offering a choice of dishes, including authentic Asian cuisine

This Year’s Theme is “The Wild”

Let the wonders of illuminating animals guide you as you travel through the lantern festival. As you travel through each location the animals change transporting guests to unique new experiences from throughout the world. Witness cheetahs, jumping koi fish, majestic cranes and even travel back in time and see dinosaurs. Travel the World by walking through America, Oceania, Asia, Antarctica and Africa.
America
As you walk through you will be able to see the Birds of Paradise light up the night. Plus, get up close to life size lanterns of Deer, Grizzly Bears, Dinosaurs and more as they light up the night.
Oceania
Hop into the Oceania area where you will see the wonders of Kangaroo’s and the beauty of Camels.
Asia/Europe
Walk through Asia and be fascinated by Pandas, Peacock’s, Tigers, Monkeys and more. Catch the thrill of authentic martial arts demonstrations and traditional folk art.
Antarctica
No need to travel up north, in the Antarctica area you will be memorized by a display of beautiful Penguins, Sea Lions and marvel in amazement of a giant Arctic Whale.
Africa
Get ready to go wild in the Africa location where you will see Lions, Cheetahs, Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, White Rhino’s and Ceramic Elephants.
Don’t forget to get some souvenirs in the Folk Arts area and check out the excitement of the martial arts show. Also make sure the camera is ready for pictures in the greeting card area that will surely get you into the holiday spirit.
Previous festival locations have included Vienna, Virginia, Dallas, Texas and Calgary, Canada
Tickets:
Admission tickets are $25 at the door/ $22 online for adults, and $15 at the door/ $12.50 online for children ages 4-12.
Admission is free for children ages 3 and younger
Special discount rates are also available online for groups of 12 or more. Discounts are provided to members of the armed forced, veterans, seniors and college students.
