The electronic hogu will be provided at the tournament, but we require senior black belt competitors to purchase their own electronic footwear in advance of the UC Open. The appropriate footwear can be found at Daedo USA. For all other divisions, we require the WTF chest protector (see image to the right) and regular non-electronic footgear. As usual, all other safety equipment is also required. For a list of safety equipment, please check the registration packet.

Pricing Information
The cost to participate in the UC Open is $80 base fee including one event, plus $10 for each additional event. The cost to participate in the UC Yongmudo Championship is a $50 base fee, including two events.

Coaches may purchase their passes at the door for $50. Free Coach Pass for every 10 competitors signed up per school. In addition, we will be adding up to one free parking pass per school if 5 competitors are signed up by Monday, March 27, 11:59pm PST.

It is our pleasure to share the UC experience with the greater community. We gladly encourage visitors to attend the tournament and support the Taekwondo competitors from the stands of the Haas Pavilion. Spectator passes will be sold the day of the tournament ($10 for adults, $5 for students and children, and free for children under the age of 4). All guests are welcome.
