MATERIAL GOODS

Maria devastated Dominica and caused widespread loss of property and possessions on the island. The fishermen’s community of Scott’s Head first need water and food, then everything else, since all the houses, belongings and fishing boats were destroyed or disappeared thanks to the hurricane. That’s why it would be great if you’d checked your storage room and see if there’s something in there that the local community needs.

Please check the list in the link for further information

Please only consider this option if you live in or can ship to Martinique or Guadeloupe.

DONATE

We are raising funds to purchase the items needed and bring them directly to the Scott’s Head fishermen’s community.

Our aim is to help sustainable rebuilding and development after this disaster by performing specific and local actions with the inhabitants. We know little by little that tiny actions can add up to big change.

Please make a donation! Large and small amounts matter and unite into one huge wave of solidarity.

Dominica a pristine Caribbean isle nicknamed “The Nature Island” because of its stunning lush green rainforests. It has a long history of resilience.

Sadly, on September 19th this sanctuary was the first one to face the wrath of hurricane Maria. Three weeks later, the fishermen’s community of Scott’s Head still needs everything : water, food, generators, baby supplies, fishing equipment & boats.

Now, Dominica needs YOUR help to rebuild.
