We love sharing the progress we have made in the homes that we are assisting pos Hurricane Harvey, as well as all the hard work our volunteers have poured to ensure each homeowner returns home soon! Our Disaster Relief Mission ends on August 17th, 2018 but the families we have helped and the friendships we made will forever be on our hearts.
This mission has been beyond bricks and stones, it has been about creating human connection and showing support to each other in moments of need. Sweat and tears were shared as well as moments of glory and happiness. Each homeowner carries a life story that is so unique and special, and each volunteer brings with them the desire to serve and give. Together we have impacted hundreds of families and learned the skills to gut and rebuild, so that we can pass it along to many other people that might need it in the future.
Our special THANK YOU this week goes to The Helper’s Heart Foundation, First Baptist Seymour, Hill Country Church, First Baptist Church Denver City and On A Mission, for coming together to join our mission and serving so unselfishly! We could have never come this far without our volunteers and we are so appreciative of every single person that made this transformation possible.
