The Sun Ra Arkestra
at the
Kammerspiele, Munich
Last night’s amazing Avant-garde, experimental, fusion Jazz performance by The Sun Ra Arkestra directed by Marshall Allen, a 92 year old musician, kicking it like in his 20s, filled the Kammer 1 at Munich’s Kammerspiele. Sun Ra’s second last show of the year was packed! Their music was a journey to outer space and back while smiling all the way through. So much history and joy in one performance of a collective ensemble of centuries on one stage. Their music is deeply fulfilling with enough change to keep you uplifted throughout their performance and wanting more there after! A harmonic ensemble of Saxophones, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Vocals, Clarinet, Flute,Cello, Guitar, Bass, Piano, Conga, Timbal, Drums and Percussion merged as one living organ!
Another Chapter of musical History was made!
