He stated that the story had been written but not the actual script. He also mentioned that he didn\u2019t want to just repeat the first film and that they would go deeper into the each of the characters. Gunn then touched upon Guardians of the Galaxy 3 saying this:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I said was \u201cI had ideas for Guardians of the Galaxy 2. I knew what I was going to do for that, and I had ideas for beyond that.\u201d That doesn\u2019t necessarily mean Guardians of the Galaxy 3 because there are a lot of different characters in this movie that could go in a lot of different directions.
