Key & Peele In Negotiations To Bring Substitute Teacher To Theaters – AMC Movie News

The comedy duo Key & Peele are in talks for several movie projects at the moment and it looks like the one furthest along is a movie they’d call SUBSTITUTE TEACHER based on the skit where Keegan-Michael Key plays Mr. Garvey, a hard nosed inner city teacher substituting in a predominately white high school and consistently mispronounces the students names. The duo are currently in negotiations with Paramount to bring the film to screen.
