I began my life in sports as a child and carried it into high school where I broke track and field records, won championships and competed in the All American Nationals. I was an all state football prospect and received a full scholarship to play football at Marist College where I graduated with a degree in business. I’m a martial arts instructor and competitive fighter. I won absolute grappling gold at the NABJJF LA Open and Epic Fight’s Submission of the Night. Yet, none of that compares to the pleasure I take in teaching Conditioning and Kung Fu. I bring my knowledge of martial body conditioning, healing arts and kickboxing drills to each class with patience and passion in equal measure. Let’s get it done!
I have been practicing yoga and meditation for 26 years, and teaching yoga for 20 years. My yoga practice is Ashtanga yoga and I’ve completed Bak Fu Pai body conditioning procedures as well as multiple higher level meditations. My observance of body movement, mental attitude and spiritual strength through many years of yogic and martial arts training give me a foundation to teach others strength and flexibility in the mind, body and spirit.

As a former athlete and member of the US Army Ranger Battalion, I always tried to stay in good shape…then I had kids. A few years of no exercise had me feeling overweight and unhealthy. I vowed to get in shape and did. Yet, I was sore all the time. When I returned to martial arts, I found that the soreness from my workouts went away. The freedom in movement I felt was truly liberating. Coach Dennis and I founded Restore to bring you that same freedom. See you on the mat!
