The band last worked with Bates on the standalone single &#8216;Goodtime Girl&#8217;, which featured on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/listen-to-idles-moody-new-song-sodium-from-dcs-death-metal-soundtrack-2972810\"><em>Dark Nights: Death Metal<\/em> soundtrack<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the track, which you can listen to below, De Wilde said in a statement: \u201c\u2018Roadkill&#8217; is about anyone that tries to dig their heels in the ground and stand in your way.
