They are intended to encourage us to live more intensely for: Memento Mori &#8221; , remember that you will die . Transcendent skull tattooed vanity Our skeleton is thus fetishized . It fascinates .<\/p>\n<p>The unique method of assembly is DIASEC acrylic resin on an image . Process invented in 1969 , it is used to mount photographs on acrylic glass. Diasec a montage is a high gloss finish . Because the printing is adhered to the acrylic glass , the result is a completely flat substrate of the image. Printing is also resistant to ultraviolet (UV ) due to the properties of the acrylic glass .<\/p>\n<p>Philippe Pasqua was born in Grasse in France in 1965.<\/p>\n<p>Sculptor and painter , his work unfolds in all artistic fields : architecture, photography, &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Self-taught artist , he began painting at the age of 18 artists who expressionists such great Lucian Freud and Francis Bacon are we influenced . Since his first exhibition in Paris in 1990 , his works are found in galleries around the world : New York , London, Seoul, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Moscow , Hamburg, Paris . He continues to work in Paris .<\/p>\n<p>Philippe Pasqua first start working as a sculptor on human skulls and skulls hippos. The theme of vanities, he realized since 1987 has become a deep exploration. Indeed, after his explorations of the flesh , the artist focuses on the reality of the bone. He collects human skulls that can be covered with gold or silver leaf , wrapped animal skins tattooed representative drawings combining imaginary flowers and legendary animals, such as dragons.<\/p>\n<p>Civilizations and artists in particular have never forgotten. The Romans had already invented the ironic skeleton which to reflect on the human place on earth was to smirk .
