December Events in Los Angeles

Happy December

As I said last month, as your local real estate expert, I not only want to inform you about current market trends, but I also want to share some really great events happening in our area during December. It seems like there is always something to do in Los Angeles… but we don’t always know where and when these events are happening.

Lending Update:
Last month I mentioned there may be some significant changes coming in January in regards to mortgages. We did receive some positive news this week. The Fed announced this week that the conforming loan limit will remain at $417,000 for 2014. The high balance conforming rate for Los Angeles County will remain at $625,500.

The rate trend this past week was flat with 30 year jumbo fixed rates holding steady at 4.25% for loan amounts up to $2,000,000.
