Attorney Gonzalez opened the law firm in 2012, the same year he met Ms. Calderon. Their professional relationship began when the two helped organize one of the largest community service events in La Villita (the Latin@ community in Chicago). Community service continues to be the main element in their professional practice and they continue to volunteer and take pro-bono cases.<\/p>

In 2015, Ms. Calderon added to her extensive pedigree of professionalism and passed the California Bar exam, the most difficult in the nation. She officially joined the firm in 2016 after being sworn in as an attorney in the United States. In 2019 Calderon & Gonzalez, P.C. opened their second office in Los Angeles.
