<\/span>What is Actor Model Housing?<\/div>
\n

It is a full service housing solution specifically created for actors and models, but we have expanded the program to include musicians, and other aspiring professionals who wish to work in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. \u00a0Our program is a stepping stone and a great way to get established without the commitment of a long-term lease.\u00a0 You get to live with other like-minded people who are also pursuing a career in the industry.\u00a0 It can be for a short stay of 3 months, or longer for people looking to move to Los Angeles full-time.<\/p>\n

We also offer workshops, tutoring, and educational programs to help people learn the important aspects of the entertainment business.\u00a0 Our housing complex is centrally located in downtown Los Angeles and only minutes away from most major studios.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Is there someone who will help me with housing issues while I am there?<\/div>
\n

Yes, we provide an on-site housing coordinator who assists participants with everyday needs, coordinates daily activities, and enforces house rules and safety regulations to maintain a better living environment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>What are the living accommodations?<\/div>
\n

Model Actor Housing is dorm style living with people sharing a fully furnished apartment in a luxury housing complex in downtown Los Angeles with 24 hour security and plenty of amenities.\u00a0 Please see our amenities page<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n

Special accommodations can be discussed and arranged accordingly upon request.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Who can apply for Model Actor Housing?<\/div>
\n

Any aspiring actor, model, musician or entertainment industry professional can apply for our housing program. All applications and photos will be reviewed for approval.\u00a0 Applicants who are chosen for the program will then be contacted and an interview will be set up. Due to a limited number of spaces in the program, only a small number of applicants can be placed at a time. You can re-apply for the program, but should not apply more than once in any 60 day period.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>How long is my stay?<\/div>
\n

Applicants who are accepted into the program stay for a minimum of 3 months, and have the option to renew for additional 3 month terms upon approval. \u00a0Many aspiring industry professionals use this opportunity as a stepping stone to getting a more permanent residence once they are established.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>What I need to bring?<\/div>
\n

Clothing and personal items are the only things you really need to bring with you.\u00a0 The units are fully furnished and ready for living.\u00a0 Living is light, so you can be free to travel around to auditions and production locations as you embark on your new exciting career.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Do I need to be signed with an Agency to get accepted?<\/div>
\n

All applicants who are accepted into the program should have agency representation or be working with a production company.\u00a0 Special situations will reviewed and considered accordingly.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>How will I know if I'm accepted into the Actor Model Housing Program?<\/div>
\n

All applicants who are accepted into the program will be notified within 3 weeks of submission. \u00a0Applicants may re-apply, but we ask that only one submission be made every 60 days.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>If I am under the age of 18, do I need a parent with me?<\/div>
\n

Yes, all applicants under the age of 18 require one parent to be living with them.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Can you accommodate a family with more than one actor?<\/div>
\n

Yes, this is a special accommodation with specialized pricing according to the number of people staying at the complex and individual needs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>What is the Child Entertainment Program?<\/div>
\n

It is a specialized program created to assist children and their families who decide to come to Los Angeles to pursue entertainment careers.<\/p>\n

We provide housing accommodations, acting and coaching classes, parent round table discussions, and special activities geared towards young people.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Do other entertainment children and families stay at Actor Model Housing?<\/div>
\n

Yes, we can house children and families from a variety talent agencies and production companies, coming to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Will I need a car in Los Angeles?<\/div>
\n

It would be great to have your own car in Los Angeles, but it is not necessary considering ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft, plus taxis and public transportation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Can I bring a pet to stay with me?<\/div>
\n

No, pets are not allowed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>How much does the Actor Model Housing Program cost ?<\/div>
\n

The cost is $2,000 per month ($6,000 total) for each Applicant, which includes all housing, listed amenities, workshops, events, photo and video shoot, website (1 year).\u00a0\u00a0 Additional requests will be quoted separately.\u00a0 The total amount must be paid in full before arriving in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"What is Actor Model Housing?
